CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENCES
In the security industry, compliance is not optional — it is the difference between a legitimate operator and one that is creating legal risk for every client they serve. Before you engage any security or facility management vendor, review their compliance record. Here is ours, openly and completely.
All documents listed on this page are available for sharing with your procurement or compliance team on request, before any engagement begins.
The PSARA licence is the legal authority to operate as a private security agency in India. Issued by the Controlling Authority appointed by the state government under the Private Security Agencies Regulation Act, 2005, it permits an agency to legally recruit, train, and deploy security guards. Every guard deployed under a PSARA licence must meet specific training standards prescribed by the Act.
When you hire a PSARA-licensed agency, your security deployment is legally authorised under Indian law. You are not exposed to the legal and regulatory risks that come with engaging an unlicensed vendor — risks that include potential liability under labour laws, insurance complications, and scrutiny during government or corporate audits.
Promiso is registered as a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise with the Government of India under the Udyam Registration scheme administered by the Ministry of MSME. This registration establishes Promiso as a formally recognised, government-verified business entity.
MSME registration qualifies Promiso for priority vendor empanelment with government departments, Public Sector Undertakings, and large corporations operating under government procurement mandates. For tenders and government contracts, our MSME status is a required qualification that we fully meet.
Promiso Security Services is registered under the Goods and Services Tax framework of India. GST registration is mandatory for service providers above the prescribed revenue threshold and governs the tax treatment of all our service invoices.
Every invoice you receive from Promiso Security Services is a proper GST-compliant tax invoice. Where applicable, your business can claim Input Tax Credit (ITC) on the GST paid for our services. For companies that require their vendors to be GST-registered — which is increasingly standard in corporate and industrial procurement — Promiso is fully qualified.
Promiso is registered with the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation under the Ministry of Labour and Employment. This registration requires Promiso to deduct Provident Fund contributions from all eligible employees’ salaries and remit them — along with the employer contribution — to EPFO monthly.
Under Indian contract labour law, the principal employer — meaning the company that hires a contractor to deploy workers on their premises — can be held jointly liable for the contractor’s PF non-compliance. When you engage Promiso, every eligible guard deployed to your site has their PF contributions being made correctly. You carry zero joint liability risk on this front.
Key Facts
● Coverage: All eligible employees, including deployed security guards and facility staff
● Contribution: Employee and employer PF contributions remitted monthly per statutory rates

Promiso holds registration under the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 with the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation. ESIC registration requires employers to deduct ESI contributions from eligible employees’ wages and remit them to the Corporation monthly, funding a comprehensive social security system covering medical care, sickness, maternity, and disability benefits for enrolled workers.
Similar to EPFO, principal employers can face joint liability under the ESI Act for a contractor’s non-compliance with ESI contributions for workers deployed on their premises. Every eligible Promiso employee — security guards, housekeeping staff, and all field personnel meeting the ESIC wage threshold — is covered under the ESIC scheme. Their contributions are remitted monthly, documented, and available for audit review. Engaging Promiso eliminates this joint liability exposure.

Promiso holds a Labour Identification Number issued by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, through the Shram Suvidha Portal. Labour identification is assigned to registered employers and is used for all labour compliance filings, inspections, and records under India’s unified labour management system.
Our Labour Identification registration confirms that Promiso is a government-verified, traceable employer in the national labour registry — compliant with applicable labour law provisions for our service category. For clients whose procurement teams require vendors to have a Labour Identification for empanelment purposes, Promiso is fully qualified.
